No removal of Doors or Drawers Needed (in most cases)

All Doors Units are Degreased and prepped with fine detail using brushes to access every nook and cranny. The Preparation is really the KEY pun intended to achieving the best possible finish

FAQs

Is it worth painting my kitchen cabinets? Painting your kitchen cabinets can be a worthwhile investment for several reasons. For one, it's a cost-effective way to update the look of your kitchen without breaking the bank on a complete renovation. A fresh coat of paint can give your cabinets a modern appearance, allowing you to transform the space to fit your unique style preferences.

Additionally, painting your cabinets can help increase their durability and protect them from the wear and tear of daily use.

What is the downside to painting kitchen cabinets? While painting kitchen cabinets has its benefits, there are several drawbacks to consider. The process can be time-consuming and labour-intensive, especially if you're tackling the project yourself.

Proper preparation, including sanding and priming, is crucial for achieving a smooth and long-lasting finish. However, if the cabinets have a glossy or textured surface, it may be more challenging to achieve a professional-looking result. Furthermore, if the cabinets are made of low-quality materials, painting may not significantly improve their overall appearance or longevity. It's also worth noting that it can be difficult to replicate the finish that a professional painter can achieve.

Is it better to spray or paint kitchen cupboards? Whether to spray or paint kitchen cupboards depends on several factors. Spraying can provide a smoother and more modern finish, especially for cabinets with a highly glossy surface. Additionally, it tends to be faster than traditional brush or roller painting. Many who now offer spray painting have usually take a short course on how to do and are not considered as professional painters in the industry

However, spraying requires specialised equipment and a controlled environment to minimise overspray and achieve even coverage. Brush or roller painting, on the other hand, can be more accessible for DIY projects and cabinets with a simpler design. It allows for more control and precision but may require additional time and effort to achieve a smooth finish. Achieving a top-quality finish through hand painting can be challenging, and it's often difficult to match the results of a professional kitchen painter.

Do painters paint inside cupboards? Professional painters usually do not paint the inside of kitchen cupboards unless the homeowner specifically requests it. This is because the interior of cabinets is generally not visible when the doors are closed, making it unnecessary to add extra time, cost, and effort to the project. However, if you want a consistent look throughout your cabinets or have glass-fronted or open cabinets where the interior is visible, you can discuss your specific requirements with the painter. They can provide guidance on the best approach to achieve your desired outcome.
